Still, it appears BMW’s plans were always to get the detail out on the 1-Series out well ahead of Frankfurt, because the 2012 BMW 1-Series is going to turn up in a showroom near you as soon as the cleaners hit the floor to wrap up the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Citroen will revive its legendary DS badge for a new range of near-premium models, industry sources said. The French brand will unveil plans for the new DS range on Wednesday, when the carmaker launches a global rebranding campaign. Gordon Murray Design has just issued its first crash test results, showing a T27 electric car after a crash test at the UK's MIRA industry research lab.
The crash test in question was the European-standard 40% offset deformable barrier front high-speed impact.
